Amit Shah tests Positive for Covid-19, is hospitalised

New Delhi, August 2, 2020: Union Home Minister Amit Shah today announced that he has tested positive for Coronavirus.
He tweeted that he is being admitted to hospital.
Shah informed that he undertook a COVID-19 test after displaying systoms for the infection.
Shah, however, informed that his condition was stable but he is being admitted to the hospital on advice of the doctors.
The Home Minister requested those who came in contact with him in last few days to get tested for the infection and quarantine themselves.
The tweet read:
“On getting the initial symptoms of coronavirus, I got the test done and the report came back positive. My health is fine, but I am being admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors. I request that all of you who have come in contact with me in the last few days, please isolate yourself and get your inquiry done,” Shah said in a tweet in Hindi.
