New Delhi, June 26, 2020: Bharti Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises, has emerged as the only NGO among the top 100 to be awarded a ‘Great place to Work 2020’ certification.
Considered the ‘Gold Standard’ in workplace culture assessment, Great Place to Work® identifies best workplaces solely on the basis of employee feedback and quality of people practices there. The cer-tification is based on the result of an anonymous employee survey conducted by a global external party to ensure a completely unbi-ased and uninfluenced result.
The awarding organization, Great Place to Work® Institute, is the global authority for creating, sustaining and identifying high-trust, high-performance culture.
The much sought-after certifica-tion is amongst the most coveted recognitions in all industries. More than 1,000 companies from over 20 industries enrolled for the 2020 certification; the top 100 list included companies from varied sectors including information tech-nology, financial services, agricul-ture, manufacturing, retail, hospi-tality etc.
Bharti Foundation’s achievement makes it the only non-profit organ- ization to qualify. Bharti Founda-tion was selected amongst ‘Top 100 Great Place to Work’ in 2018 and 2017 as well.
Mamta Saikia, CEO, Bharti Foundation expressed her delight on having bagged the title and said, “Once again, we have been listed among India’s top 100 com-panies to work for. I am very inspired by the fact that every employee of Bharti Foundation truly believes that we can change the lives of underprivileged chil-dren who study in our schools; that is evident from the kind of passion and commitment that we see on the ground. In addition, a very strong and credible leader-ship team, a sense of empower-ment, unparalleled team spirit and a DNA of innovation sum up to make Bharti Foundation one of the best companies to work for.”
The certification is bagged by organizations which excel on 5 dimensions – credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie. This achievement highlights Bharti Foundation’s ideology of creating a safe and happy work-place for its employees, and driv-ing a positive transformation for the empowerment of all its associated internal stakeholders.
The Foundation’s primary focus has been centered on the educa-tion of children across rural India while nurturing a culture of posi-tivity, harmony and peace within the organization.
