Class X results of CBSE declared

New Delhi, July 15, 2020: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared Class X results today.
Nationally, Trivandrum
performedthe best amongst
all regions with 99.28 %
pass percentage followed by
Chennai region with 98.95
% while Bengaluru stood at
third position with 98.23 %
pass percentage.
A total of 18, 73,015students
appeared in the exam
out of which 17, 13,121students
passed the exam.
The overall pass percentage
of this year was 91.46.
The students of a total
number of 20387 schools
sat for the exams in 5377
Panchkula had a pass percentage
of 94.3, while in
Chandigarh it was 91.83%.
Overall, girls did better
than boys. 93.31% girls
pased the exam,while 9.14%
boys did so. There were
78.95% transgenders who
cleared the exams.
Stepping Stones Sen.Sec.
Students of Stepping
Stones Senior Secondary
School, Sector 37/D, performed
Rishika Chauhan topped
the school with an aggregate
of 96.4 %.
The result brought cheers
to the school and staff as 21
students scored above 90%
and 25 students scored
between 80% to 90%.
The management was
happy that the school had
produced such an outstanding
result and the hard work
of the students and teachers
was praised.

Students of Dikshant
International and Dikshant
Global School did well.
The schools’ topper Barsha
Chatterjee (Dikshant
Global School) scored
98.6% while the second
position holder Camilla
Sidana (Dikshant International
School) scored
Barsha of Dikshant Global
School topped in Mohali
district and attained the 3rd
position in the tricity.
Out of the total 74 students
of the two schools
who appeared, 25% students
scored more than 95% while
42% students scored above
IS Dev Samaj School
Om Singh of I S Dev
Samaj Senior Secondary
School, Sector 21, Chandigarh
secured the top place in
the school with 96.6 % iy.
Umang got 92.4 %, while
Aryan scored 91 % and Ishita
got 90 %.
