Defiant Kangna Ranaut lands in Mumbai

Mumbai, September 9, 2020: A defiant Kangna Ranaut today drove down to Chandigarh and took a flight to Mumbai where she landed among a sea of Karni Sena supporters and protests and sloganeering outside the Mumbai International airport by members of the Bhartiya Kamgar Sena – a workers’ union affiliated to the Shiv Sena.
Earlier in the day, high drama was seen at the actor’s house in Pali Hill, Mumbai as the Brahanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) started demolishing her office.
The Bombay High Court stayed the demolition being carried out by the Mumbai civic body for removal of alleged illegal construction.
The actor has been accorded Y-plus category of security by the Home Ministry in the wake of her spat with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut.
Kangana Ranaut had challenged the Shiv Sena to stop her from coming to Mumbai.
Undeterred by the death threats she received ostensibly for insulting the political parties by comparing Mumbai to PoK, she flew in today after spending six months in her home town of Manali.
Before arriving in Mumbai she got her Coronavirus test done and results were negative.
