Chandigarh, July 2, 2020: The 18th meeting of the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board (SMMDSB), Panchkula was held under the Chairman-ship of the Chief Minister, Manohar Lal here today and various new works worth of about Rs .45 crore were approved.
It was decided to estab-lishment a Diagnostic Centre with OPD facility in the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine premises to provide treatment facilities to the people on subsidized rates.
Besides this, the Chief Minister also directed to explore the possibility of transferring additional 10 acres of adjoining and unuti-lized land of Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) to SMMDSB for providing amenities to the devotees in a planned manner.
A total of 25 agenda items were taken up in the meet-ing.
Speaker Vidhan Sabha, Gian Chand Gupta and Chief Secretary, Keshni Arora were also present in the meeting.
The Chief Minister, Manohar Lal, who is also the Chairman of the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board directed the con-cerned officers to start the process for the construction of building of the Diagnos-tic Centre at the earliest.
He said that besides retired doctors, services of medical practitioners associ-ated with different NGOs should also be taken for pro-viding medical facilities to those visiting the Diagnostic Centre which would come up on land measuring 4 Kanal and 6 Marla.
The Diagnostic Centre would be built, managed and run by the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board would be equipped with all modern and latest facilities.
The treatment and test facilities in the Diagnostic Centre would be provided on the subsidized rates.
