It is indeed very important to eat Healthy. So how do you eat healthy?
It’s very important to plan ahead, else most probably you would run out of inspiration for what to prepare when you’re having all your meals at home. Planning meals in advance could also help you keep only the necessary ingredients and not overstock – something which is good for you and everybody else.
Sector News brings you a healthy recipe a day which you can try out tomorrow. We have tried to keep the recipe simple and most of the ingredi-ents should be easily available at your home.
Baked Rajma Cutlet
Cup Cooked Rajma
1 Large Onion, Finely Chopped
3 Tbsp Whole Wheat Flour
3 Tbsp Maida
1 Tsp Pav bhaji Masala
1 Tsp Chilli powder
½ Tsp Garam Masala
½ Tsp Coriander Powder ¼ Tsp Cumin Powder
4 Tbsp Breadcrumbs
1 Tsp Ginger Garlic paste Generous Pinch of Hing Salt as needed
2 Tsp Oil
Wash and Soak Rajma in hot water for 4-5 hours before pressure cooking with salt.
To a heated pan, add some oil, onion, ginger garlic paste and sauté till the onions become translucent.
Once cooked, add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, pav bhaji powder and salt and cook for 2-3 minutes in low flame.
Turn off the heat and add this mixture to a large mixing bowl along with boiled rajma. Add the maida, wheat flour and breadcrumbs for binding. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celcius.
Take a baking tray and line a parchment oil and grease it with oil
Take small portions of the mixture, and flatten them using your palm
Place on the greased tray
and brush the top portion of
each cutlet with little oil to
avoid drying out and for
the crispy finish.
Bake the cutlets for 8 –
12 min, till they have
Carefully flip them
and bake again for 8 –
12 minutes. Remove
and serve immediately.
Serve with chutney or
ketchup and enjoy
them as in or add
them to Bread/ Bun (Burger / Roti / Tortilla
