It is indeed very important to eat Healthy. So how do you eathealthy?

It’s very important to plan ahead, else most probably you would run out of inspiration for what to prepare when you’re having all your meals at home. Planning meals in advance could also help you keep only the necessary ingredients and not overstock – which is good for you and everybody else.

Sector News brings you a healthy recipe a day which you can try out tomorrow. We have tried to keep the recipe simple and most of the ingredi-ents should be easily available at your home.

Apple Pie


For the dough
Flour 300 gms
Buttter 200 gms
Sugar 100 gms (powdered) Pinch of baking powder

Knead all ingredients. If required add a few spoons of cold water . Cling wrap the dough. Rest the dough in refrigerator for half an hour.

For the filling
Apples 500 gms
Brown sugar 50 gms
Walnuts 75 gms
Cinnamon powder 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice 1tbs

Peel and grate apples, chop the walnuts. Mix all four together. Divide the dough into 2/3. Using bigger portion

roll it approximately
10 inches to fit your 8
inches pie dish. Place
it on your pie dish, put
the filling in the pie.
Roll half of the dough
and place on top.Give
it a cream wash / or egg (depend-ing on your choice). Bake at 180 degrees for

50 minutes to an hour.
