Haryana to explore possibilty of starting courses for technical posts in hospitals and medical colleges

Chandigarh, June 24, 2020: Haryana Health
and Medical Education &
Research Minister, Anil Vij said
that the possibilities of starting
courses relevant to technical posts
in hospitals and medical colleges
of the state will be explored soon.
Vij has instructed the Additional
Chief Secretaries of Health and
Medical Education and Research
Departments to take appropriate
action in this regard.
He said that the Department of
Skill Development has prepared a
list of technical courses with minimum
educational qualifications,
which can be started in hospitals
and medical colleges.
For such courses, the Skill
Development Department has also
promised to give free certificates to
successful candidates.
This will help in ensuring the
availability of trained and skilled
staff in hospitals.
The Health Minister said that it
has been observed that the youth of
the state go to other states or private
institutions to pursue such
courses, but they themselves want
the government to start such courses
in the government medical colleges.
In view of our demand, it has
been asked to hold brainstorming
sessions on the number of seats,
including possibilities of starting
various courses and to prepare a
proposal in this regard soon.
More than 30 courses have been
selected by the Department of Skill
Development, as also the posts of
Duty Manager, Tele-Health Service
Coordinator, Hospital Coordinator,
and Home Health Aid.
The Department of Skill Development
has also fixed the minimum
educational qualification for these
courses..
