Chandigarh, July 13, 2020: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
today released the result for Class 12 examination.
A total of 10,59,080 students cleared the Class 12 exam with a pass percentage of 88.78 per cent.
Gender-wise, girls have outperformed
boys with 92.15 per cent,
while the pass percentage of boys is
86.19 per cent.
The pass percentage of transgender
students is 66.67 per cent.
Among tri-city schools, Ishwar
Singh Dev Samaj Senior Secondary
School, Sector 21C, Chandigarh
declared an overall result of 100 per
cent – all students of the school
passed in the CBSE exam. Nikita
with a score of 97.2 per cent in Arts
was the school topper. Sonali Gupta
was the Comerce stream topper with
a score of 96 per cent. Krishna
Goyal did well as he scored 93.8 per
cent to top the Non Medical stream .
Riya topepd the Medical stream
with 87.2 per cent.
Moti Ram Arya Sr Sec Model
School, Sector 27, Chandigarh also
had an overall 100% pass result. Of
the 180 studenst of the school who
appeared for the exams, 27 students
scored above 90%

Secondary School Sector 37/D,
performed brilliantly in the class
XII CBSE examination this year.
In the school, Anirudh Garg of
Science Stream (Non – Medical)
topped with an aggregate of 98.8
%, whereas Muskan of Commerce
Stream topped with 96.2% .
The result brought cheeras 70 students
in Non –Med and Commerce
scored above 90% and about 61 students
scored between 80% to 90%.
The Class XII students of Dikshant
International School, Zirakpur
did well. Out of 44 students , 27%
of students got over 90% marks
while 67% scored more than 80%
marks and 93% of students scored
above 75%. The average percentage
of the school was 84.3%.
Muskaan in humanities topped the
school with a aggregate of 96.2%
score. Hardik Singhal scored highest
in science with 95.4% while
Aditya Sharma secured 91.6% and
got first place in commerce.
Jaya Narang with locomotor disability
(Dystonia with cerebellar
symptom) is the school topper in
English with an aggregate of 88%.
Another child Riya Nagpal who
has intellectual learning disability
scored 79.8%. 9 students scored a
perfect 100 in different subjects.
