Salute to Doctors on National Doctors’ Day by NSS volunteers of PU

Chandigarh, July 1, 2020: NSS volunteers from Centre for Social Work, Pan-jab University, Chandigarh expressed gratitude towards all the Doctors today on National Doc-tor’s Day, by visiting Govt. Multi-specialty hospital, Sector 16, Chandigarh.

To express their best wishes on this day, these volunteers offered flowers to the doctors serving the patients at the isolation ward.

They also expressed a deep sense of appreciation to the paramedic and other supporting staff as well in the hospital.

They saluted the doctors for always being there at the need of the hour for every patient and soci-ety at large.

he volunteers included Shubham, Jaskirat Kaur, Kavneet Singh and Narendra Singh.

Gaurav Gaur, NSS, Programme Officer said that “Doctors are con-sidered next to the God and spe-cially during COVID-19, the whole doctors’ and paramedic community has done exemplary work, which can’t be put in words at all.”

He said that, in this time of COVID-19, we can’’t do anything for the doctors but at least by say-ing a THANK YOU to them from our hearts we may help in boosting their morale.
